Thailand time zone

Thai dates also use a different year. The Buddhist Era (BE) is 543 years ahead of the Western count, so 2026 is BE 2569, and a date written 1/10/2569 means 1 October 2026. Official documents, newspapers and many receipts use it. The Thai year has started on 1 January since 1941.
